Bobby Cox was named
(NL) Manager of the Year by The Sporting News. Bobby Cox received 7.5 out of 16 first-place votes among the NL's managers after leading the Braves to their unprecedented 13th straight division title and earning his 2000th career win as a manager just before season's end.
