Notes: Saturday start for Thomson
John Thomson will start for Atlanta on Saturday.
Kyle Farnsworth has begun his 6 game suspension for an incident while with Detroit; Kyle Davies has shifted to the bullpen for the time being to take his place.
Chipper's injury is improving, but slowly. In my opinion, it would be best if they went ahead and DL'ed him (and made it retroactive) so they could call up a player that could help them in more ways than just pinch-hitting.
Brian Jordan
will start a rehab assignment for Rome on Thursday.
