I didn't get to watch the game, but it doesn't look like I missed anything.
Jorge Sosa (7-2) had his first bad start, giving up 5 runs in 5 innings on 6 hits, no walks, and struck out 2. Kyle Davies relieved him and gave up 3 runs in 3 innings, and Jim Brower pitched a scoreless 9th.
The Braves offense did absolutely nothing, getting only 4 hits on the night. Chipper Jones returned and got 2 of the hits.
Offensive contributor: Chipper Jones was 2-4. Marcus Giles' hitting streak ended with an 0-4.
The Braves made a roster move after the game, sending Davies back to Triple A and activating Thomson from the DL.
The Phillies and Nationals won. The Marlins and Mets lost. The Braves lead by 5 games.
The Braves play this afternoon; John Thomson returns against former Brave Russ Ortiz who is also making his first start off of the DL.
