According to the
AJC, Johnny Estrada has been placed on the Disabled List with a sore back and Brayan Pena has been re-called from Triple A.
Estrada hasn't been the same since his home plate collision with Darin Erstad on June 6. 21 year old rookie Brian McCann has all but passed him on the depth chart as the starting catcher with his strong play.
