As Paul noted in the last thread, Rafael Furcal has officially signed a 3 year/39.5 million dollar contract with Los Angeles. He'll be making over 13 million a year.
With some room to maneuver in the budget for the Braves, expect some smooth trades here shortly during or after winter meetings to fill the closer, shortstop, and leadoff man needs.
