The Braves have
traded Kevin Gryboski to Texas for a 23 year old single A pitcher, Matt Lorenzo.
The Braves called up left-hander
Macay McBride to take Gryboski's spot in the bullpen, giving the Braves a 2nd left-hander in the bullpen.
With a bullpen full of proven veterans and few players on the 25 man roster that had options left, the Braves could afford to trade Gryboski. Gryboski was making just under a million. His peripherals and inherited runners allowed to score were never acceptable.
Dan Kolb will presumably now become the bullpen's double play specialist.
Our bullpen now looks like this:
RHP Reitsma
RHP Brower
LHP Foster
RHP Boyer
LHP McBride
RHP Kolb
RHP Powell
