2005 #1 pick Joey Devine has been
promoted from Single A Myrtle Beach to Double A Mississippi. Devine had pitched 5 scoreless innings, allowing
no hits, 3 walks, and 7 strikeouts. He continues on the fast track, and could be a big help to the bullpen later this year.
Also, pitching prospect Anthony Lerew has been promoted to Triple A Richmond, and in 2 starts there he has a 2.13 ERA in 12 innings.
