Well, this fills the need for a veteran set-up man in the 8th. Kyle Farnsworth is having a very strong 2005 season. The 29 year old has a 2.32 ERA, and was recently promoted to closer for Detroit; where he was 5-5 in save opps. He has a 1.15 WHIP, 30 walks and 83 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched. He allowed a .192 batting average against him and 2 homers off of him. Very impressive numbers. He's had a mediocre career so far except for this year, 2001, and 2003. His most similiar pitcher at his age is Dan Miceli. He has a 6 game suspension under appeal for his role in a brawl on July 21.
