The last 3 NL Players of the Week have all been Braves.
With his recent amazing hitting, Andruw Jones was named one of this week's recipients. Andruw is only the 8th player in NL history to hit 12 HR in 15 days.
And with his recent amazing pitching, John Smoltz is the other recipient. In his 2 starts this week, Smoltz threw a couple of complete game 5-hitters, one of them a shutout. He gave up just 1 run in 18 IP.
