The
Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports that
Brian McCann has been called up with Eddie Perez going back to the DL. Perez was activated yesterday, but was only to be used in an emergency as he still has tendonitis. Johnny Estrada is supposed to be out for at least the next 3 games, and the Braves need more than one healthy catcher for those 3 games.
McCann was hitting .265/.359/.476 with 6 homers and 26 RBI at Double A Mississippi.
