The Braves
sent struggling reliever Roman Colon down to Double A Mississippi and called up
Blaine Boyer. Boyer just recently made the switch to the bullpen, and as a reliever he was 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA after struggling as a starter.
Also, Jorge Sosa will get the nod to start on Tuesday instead of the Braves calling up another pitcher. Bobby said that if he pitches well, that he could stay in the rotation. He mentioned that this is an excellent opportunity to get Sosa some work.
