The
AJC reports that Chipper's not going to need surgery and that the doctor strongly recommended he not get it. He should still be out 4-6 weeks minimum, but he will be back to help later.
In other news, No. 1 pick Joey Devine will report to High A Myrtle Beach. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a September call-up.
