I'm sick of Brian Jordan batting 3rd everytime Chipper is out of the lineup. He is one of the worst offensive regulars in the major leagues. His bat seems painfully slow on fastballs; that's what happens when you're too old (unless you're Julio).
Rafael Furcal is back in the lineup; to rest the ailing Chipper, Betemit shifts from short over to third base.
Kelly Johnson has been moved down to the 8th place in the order. Betemit bats 7th despite being the Braves' hottest hitter.
Julio's in the lineup against a left-hander. Boo to him batting cleanup.
Mark Redman is the starting pitcher for the Pirates. Redman is 3-4 with a 3.14 ERA in 11 starts.
