As you can see, the record this year is exactly the same as 2002, and is 2 games ahead of the pace of last year. Of course, all of these teams went on to win the division by a lot. This is not the time to worry. We're still tied for first place as the rest of the division is also basically playing .500 ball. As soon as we get Mike Hampton back to normal, the bullpen roles straightened out, and the offense to get out of its current funk (which will happen), I think we could expect to hit stride. A lot more upcoming home games will help too!
