Kyle Davies picked up the win in his major league debut, pitching 5 scoreless innings while allowing only 4 hits, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts. This was in front of a sellout crowd at Fenway Park against the world champions in the rain, no less. He got offensive support also, as the Braves scored 7 runs off of knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. This puts a stop to the 4 game losing streak. Tomorrow, the Braves will try to take 2 of 3 from the Red Sox as John Smoltz squares off against Matt Clement.
