Eddie Perez
has been placed on the disabled list with tendonitis in his right shoulder. Bryan Pena was promoted from Richmond to take his place on the 25 man roster.
Perez is batting .216 with 2 homers and 6 RBI. At Triple A, Pena was batting .417 in 103 AB.
