I've been extremely critical of him lately, but he has a 7 game hitting streak working now. In the hitting streak he is hitting .320/.346/.400 with 2 doubles and a phantom home run. The home run would have made his slugging percentage .560 over that time span, so the numbers should be better. As it is, that's too much value in batting average, but it's better than what he has been doing, and with his outstanding defense lately I could live with this from a platoon player.
