After seeing how Andruw Jones' OPS has skyrocketed the past month, I thought that it would be interesting to see how all of the Braves regulars fared against all National League regulars.
Both Chipper and Andruw are #1 at their positions in the National League. However, Marcus Giles is the only other player in the top half at a position.
The National League has some terrible hitting shortstops. I couldn't believe Furcal was only more or less slightly below average this season at that position. Jordan and Mondesi, no surprise, are near or at the bottom.
The players that I list may not be necessarily the regular now because of injury or ineffectiveness, but they are the leader on that team for at-bats at that position.
