Jeremy Hermida hit a 2 out, 2 run homer to tie it in the bottom of the 9th, and Juan Pierre hit a 2 out RBI single in the 10th to beat the Braves in the season finale. Horacio Ramirez was solid in his 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, a walk, and struck out 4. Joey Devine pitched a scoreless 6th. Blaine Boyer pitched the 7th, and didn't prove that he was feeling great. His location was off, and he gave up 3 runs without getting an out. Foster came on to face Delgado and allowed a hit. Finally, Brower came in and pitched well again, getting a double play and a strikeout around an intentional walk. Kyle Farnsworth pitched a scoreless 8th. Kyle Davies (7-6) got 2 outs in the 9th around a hit, but gave up a homer to Hermida to tie it. After the Braves went down in the 10th, he allowed a leadoff double, but got the next 2 outs before Pierre won it with a single. Offensive contributors: Chipper Jones was 2-3 with his 21st homer. Brian McCann was 2-5 with a double, 3 RBIs, and scored. Rafael Furcal was 2-3 with a triple. Todd Hollandsworth was 2-2. Julio Franco was 1-2 with a walk and scored.
