Chuck James is a 23 year old left hander. He had a great year this season at 3 different levels: Myrtle Beach, Mississippi, and Richmond. He was used as a starter.
With Hampton gone, and John Foster having a sore elbow, the Braves decided they needed another left-hander. Macay McBride looks to be used as the top left-hander out of the bullpen, and James would likely be the 2nd.
In the postseason, Horacio Ramirez may be used as a top left-hander out of the bullpen.
