For the 2nd time this year, Andruw Jones has been awarded the NL Player of the Month award; this time for August. He batted .272/359/602 with 11 homers and 29 RBIs.
I had given my team award to Chipper earlier, and Andruw had been 2nd. It makes you think that Chipper had to be up there in the results for last month too less he didn't have enough at-bats.
