Kyle Davies may be ready to help the Braves soon, judging from his strong rehab start Wednesday for Class AA Mississippi. The Stockbridge right-hander allowed four hits and two runs in seven innings against Tennessee, with two walks and three strikeouts. He threw 52 strikes in 79 pitches. Davies, recovering from May groin surgery, allowed two runs on a walk and two doubles within the first five batters of the first inning, but only two singles after that. Reliever Joey Devine also had an encouraging performance in his second appearance for Mississippi, allowing one hit and one walk with a strikeout in two scoreless innings.Keep it going, Kyle.
