The losing streak extends to 9.
Hudson (6-6, 4.05) completely lost it with 2 outs in the 3rd. He walked 3 batters in a row then gave up 3 hits in a row to score 4 runs. After that, he didn't allow anything until a solo homer in the 7th. He pitched 7 innings and allowed 5 runs on 7 hits, 5 walks, and 4 strikeouts.
McBride and Paronto combined to give up a run in the 8th. Ray pitched a scoreless 9th.
The Braves were mostly shut down by Lilly and the Blue Jays bullpen. They strung together some hits in the 6th, but that was pretty much it.
Offensive contributors: Andruw Jones was 2-4 and scored. Jeff Francoeur was 2-4 with an RBI. Brian McCann was 1-2 with a walk, an RBI, and scored. Matt Diaz was 1-3 with a walk.
Horacio Ramirez returns tomorrow against AJ Burnett.
