Has anyone else noticed that every single close call has gone against the Braves this past month? It's like the commissioner's office sent out a memo to them: "Hey, we think the Braves are boring, let's do what we can to keep them out of October."
Of course, the most maddening rule they made was the limit of 90 games for TBS and WGN showing games.
It might be time to start thinking about trading upcoming free agents for prospects (especially upper level pitching prospects, which the Braves sorely lack right now other than James). Thomson, Sosa, Reitsma, and the lefty Remlinger are all veterans that the Braves could look to get some prospects for. If nothing else, it would make room for Davies and James in the rotation.
