The Braves lost their 3rd game in a row and got swept by Milwaukee for the first time ever.
Jorge Sosa (0-4) actually pitched better, but was hurt by 2 errors. He gave up 4 runs (none earned) on 5 hits, a walk, and struck out 4 in 5.1 innings. Corey Koskie homered off of him to give Milwaukee a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
Sheets struck out 9 Braves in 6 innings. The Braves got 2 runs in the 9th off of Turnbow but couldn't erase the 3 run deficit.
To rub salt in the wounds, Danny Kolb pitched a scoreless inning against us.
Offensive contributors: Brian McCann was 3-3, had an RBI, and scored. Adam LaRoche was 2-4 with a double, a walk, and had an RBI. Andruw Jones was 1-3 with a walk and scored twice.
The Braves are off tomorrow then host the Mets beginning Friday. Smoltz vs. Pedro.
