Smoltz didn't have it and the Braves couldn't complete the sweep.
Smoltz (12-7, 3.60) couldn't get an out in the 6th, and gave up 7 runs on 6 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts. The Braves were buried in a 7-1 deficit.
They had a 4 run 7th to make it 7-5, but couldn't come back.
Offensive contributors: The only starting position players without a hit were Giles and Chipper. Renteria, Andruw, and Francoeur each had 2 hits. Andruw and Francoeur had a double while Renteria tripled.
The Braves now go to Philly, and Villarreal pitches against Jon Lieber.
