We had already known that Jason Heyward had agreed to a $1.7 million bonus a couple weeks ago and with only two days until the deadline, the signing of the Braves first round draft pick has been made official. Although details have not been officially announced, we know the basic groundwork. Heyward just turned 18 and stands at 6'5" 230 lbs. He will report to the Gulf Coast League Braves to start his pro career.
