We did one earlier in the year and now with 17 days left until the trading deadline, we're going to do it again. You are now John Schuerholz. The Braves are 1.5 games back of the Mets and 2 back in the wild card with 72 games left to go. The offense has been surging lately with Andruw Jones, Brian McCann, Chipper Jones, and Kelly Johnson all hitting over .340. First base is still a problem as the left-handed half of the platoon isn't hitting. The big problem though is the back end of the rotation. Beyond the top three, Buddy Carlyle and Kyle Davies haven't been consistent. What do you do before the deadline? You have full control. You are allowed to trade, release, demote, promote, or anything thing else that falls under the job description of a GM. Please keep in mind that these have to be realistic. Don't trade for guys like Mark Buehrle, who just got signed and make any trades realistic (Teams still in contention will not be trading big pieces).
This is intended to start argument and debate. If you have an opinion post it and support it. If you disagree with someone, call them out on it. I want to spark some good Braves debate here.
