The Hardball Times rounded off its preview of the NL East today with a look at the NY Mets. Yesterday THT previewed the overachieving Marlins and the Phillies. John Walsh tackles the Mets and his take is that they were a shade fortunate last year to rack up 97 wins -- in fact they were more like a 91 win team. This year there are more questions than answers, particularly concerning the pitching staff. Jason Weitzel previews the Phillies. Jason designed the Chop-n-Change banner so I can't berate his views too much! His piece is balanced and well argued, though I do think the Phillies are the third best team in the division (just). Bring on opening day.
