- The Braves want to re-sign left-handed reliever Ron Mahay and are looking for another lefty to pair with Royce Ring out of the pen (presumably if a deal can't be worked out with Mahay).
- If Tom Glavine comes to a deal with the Braves, Wren and the front office will not be looking for any more starters and instead will try and improve other parts of the club.
- Officially put the Mike Lowell and Ken Griffey Jr. rumors to rest. They sounded ridiculous to begin with.
- It sounds like the Braves will be keeping top pick Jason Heyward in right field for the time being.
- I can finally stop hearing about a chance of Kelly Johnson being moved back to the outfield or traded. Wren thinks "he can be one of the best all-around players at that position". I agree.
