Mark Kotsay got the cycle last night, Jeff Francoeur hit a three-run homer and publicly admitted he sucks, and the Braves still lost. Well, at least some things in the universe don't change.
Tonight, it's Jair Jurrjens against Matt Cain, two of the best 23-and-under starting pitchers in baseball today. It's the Jynts again, who ought to be a little easier to handle than the Cubs, but we lost 2 out of 3 to them the last time around. I think I'd better try the reverse jinx thing again. I mean, this is a game we're sure to lose, right?
In other news, the Yankees released Richie Sexson, and I'm pretty sure he could outhit Jeff Francoeur. Get on it, Wren!
Also, Mike and the Mad Dog broke up, it appears. I'd like to extend my deepest condolences to our Tristate area readers and visitors. They were a hell of a team. Been a long time coming, I guess, but it's a sad day nonetheless.
