Yes, it's true. Ken Rosenthal is now reporting that Rafael Furcal decided to ignore his gentleman's agreement to sign with the Braves and instead will return to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The terms of the deal are not known but I'd assume it's right around the 3-year deal (with a vesting fourth year option) worth $30 million that the Braves offered.

I'm very interested now to hear the reactions from Frank Wren and especially Bobby Cox, whom Furcal has said in the past is a father figure to him. This is yet another dissapointment in a long line of frustrations for Wren this off-season.
