Seriously, we just lost two to the Padres at a time of the season where basically every series is must-win, if not every game. And we looked truly pathetic while doing so, getting outpitched and outhit fairly convincingly in each of the last two games. Chipper's clearly not right; neither is Martin Prado, and Reid Gorecki and Garret Anderson are nobody's idea of blue-chippers. Our starting pitching (except for Derek Lowe) is still solid, but our bullpen clearly isn't.

So... is it time to start shutting down Jurrjens and Hanson and praying for 2010? Is there a fork in our back?
