Jerry Crasnick of ESPN is reporting that Rafael Soriano has accepted his offer of arbitration. So what does this mean for the Braves? Well, 7 or 8 million is now tied up on yet another reliever. The Braves cannot trade Soriano without his consent until June 15th, so the question becomes do you try to get the most mileage out of him on the field, or do you take a B-level prospect from a team on a rental? Personally, I'd just say to hell with it and keep Soriano on the team for the season. Nearly every member of the Braves pen has had arm troubles, I'd rather have the insurance there then to have to patch holes with guys like Manny Acosta or Mariano Gomez.
