Today's 1 pm game is on ESPN, so fire up your TV (or go to the nearest bar on your lunch break) and take a gander. As our bottom-feeding barnstorming continues, we'll follow the Tigers with the Astros, and today's matchup is ostensibly Jorge Campillo vs. Roy Oswalt. But the real reason to watch the game is to see the guy who's penciled in to pitch the 3rd and 4rth innings: Tommy Hanson. You don't need to tell you how good this guy is. This will be the first chance many of us get to see him on the small screen, and I fully intend to take advantage of it.
Oh, yeah, we lost yesterday. That sucked, but, again, it's spring training and
it doesn't matter. Jordan Schafer homered but he misplayed a single into a triple. Freddie Freeman had a two-run single, which is cool. Jason Heyward didn't do much yesterday; maybe he'll rise to the occasion today.
Man, this is cool.
