The 27-year old utility man hit .293/.338/.416 in 348 plate appearances during his first year with Atlanta. The infielder proved to be an incredibly valuable piece of Bobby Cox's bench, serving as the team's super-utility man and insurance policy for Chipper Jones. The deal is very reasonable and along with the deals given to Greg Norton and David Ross, give the Braves much needed stability off the bench.
