Update from Alex: DOB is reporting Lowe said yes.

Update: Has nothing to do with Lowe, but here's an interesting video about the Andruw Jones situation (and boy, you can really tell that McCann has been shedding a couple of pounds)

Want some good news? Dave O'Brien is reporting that the Braves made an offer to Derek Lowe on Friday. He doesn't mention any specifics, but speculates that it  was probably a three-year deal for more than the $36 million the Mets offered, but less than $15 million per season. O'Brien went on to say that he thinks the Braves will have to up the offer to at least $15 million per season over three years with a guaranteed fourth year or an option for a fourth year.
