Braves 4, Rockies 3
MVP: Jair Jurrjens. 6 innings with just 2 ER, and just as importantly, he was 2-3 with an RBI. Good kid.
LVP: Ryan Church. Yes, he's 0-4 as a Brave, but -- and I watched his face very closely to see if it showed any tendency to morph, or any other glitch in the Matrix -- he's not Jeff Francoeur. I'm tempted to make him the MVP just for that.
MIP: Believe it or not, the Braves' most important play was JJ's RBI single. It gave the Braves an insurance run to cushion a lead they'd never relinquish.
UotG: Bullpen. In a close game, your bullpen had better be up to the task. Peter Moylan wasn't, but Eric O'Flaherty and Rafael Soriano both shut the door. Soriano's scoreless inning actually had a greater WPA than Jurrjens' 6 innings.
Hey, a winning streak!
